Dynamic Churches International: Empowering Disciples, Transforming Nations – A Personal Reflection

by Coach Davie

In today’s rapidly changing world, one thing remains constant—the urgent need for true discipleship. At a time when many churches are focused on growing numbers, Dynamic Churches International (DCI) is focused on growing people. That’s why their mission resonates so deeply with me, and why I’ve chosen to be a part of this life-transforming work—not just as a trained discipler, but as a ministry leader and mentor of the next generation.

A Ministry That Aligns With My Calling

As a trained discipler, I’ve seen firsthand how DCI’s practical, biblical approach to discipleship can transform not just individuals—but entire families, churches, and communities. At ILC Ministries, where I serve, I’ve been privileged to lead the discipleship effort within our local church. Our vision is simple but powerful: equip every believer to become a disciple-maker.

This isn’t a title for me—it’s a calling. I’m passionate about helping people not just attend church, but become the Church—to grow in faith, deepen their walk with Christ, and step into their God-given purpose.

Mentoring the Next Generation for Ministry

One of the areas closest to my heart is working with young people. There’s something extraordinary about watching a young person realize they don’t have to wait until they’re older to serve God—they can start right now.

Through DCI's discipleship tools and principles, I’ve been mentoring youth at ILC Ministries to not only grow in their own walk with Christ but also to disciple others. We’re seeing a wave of young leaders rising up—teaching Bible studies, leading prayer groups, preaching, serving, and taking responsibility for their spiritual growth. It’s not just inspiring—it’s revival in motion.

We’ve established mentorship circles, discipleship classes, and ministry involvement opportunities that equip our youth to be confident in the Word, committed to Christ, and courageous in leadership.

Why DCI's Approach Works

What makes Dynamic Churches International stand out is its reproducible model. The emphasis is not on big events or fancy programs, but on real-life transformation through personal relationships. DCI empowers churches to:

  • Raise leaders from within

  • Develop small discipleship groups that multiply

  • Train lay members to teach, mentor, and lead

  • Focus on spiritual maturity over shallow engagement

This model aligns perfectly with the mission we carry at ILC Ministries. We’ve adapted DCI’s training and resources into our local context—proving that effective discipleship isn’t about complexity, but commitment.

Impact Beyond the Church Walls

What we’re building isn’t just for Sunday services. At ILC, our goal is to release disciples into the world—in workplaces, schools, families, and neighborhoods. Through consistent discipleship and mentorship, we’re seeing our members carry the Gospel wherever they go. That’s the power of DCI's influence: it equips us to equip others.

DCI also provides essential tools like:

  • Biblical study guides

  • Practical leadership manuals

  • Church health and growth assessments

  • Strategic church planting frameworks

These resources have been instrumental in how we approach our vision at ILC, especially in helping us raise strong, Spirit-led leaders across all age groups.

My Personal Challenge to You

As Coach Davie, my message is simple: Discipleship is not optional. It’s the heartbeat of the Church. I’ve dedicated my life to this calling—not because it’s easy, but because it’s necessary. And I thank God for partners like Dynamic Churches International who continue to provide the structure, vision, and global connection needed to keep this mission alive.

If you’re a church leader, youth mentor, or passionate believer, I urge you—get trained. Start a group. Mentor one person. Multiply the mission. You don’t need a title to make a difference. You just need a willing heart and the right tools.

Discipleship is how we change the world—one soul at a time.

Let’s keep the fire burning.

With purpose and passion,
Coach Davie
